Israeli military correspondent for Channel 11, Itay Blumental, has revealed on his Twitter page that an executive plane (P4-RMA) used by the Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar landed in Israel on Friday after a “diplomatic stop” in Cyprus.

Blumental added that after two hours on the ground at Ben Gurion Airport, the plane took off back to Cyprus, knowing that the plane was in Egypt on January 12, leaving afterwards on the same day to Jordan's capital before returning to Alexanderia in Egypt, according to "adsbexchange".

Israeli media said there was no assurance that Haftar was on the plane and they didn't know who was on it.

Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, said last November that Khalifa Haftar’s son, Saddam, had visited Tel Aviv on a French plane, which Haftar uses for travel along with his family and aides, indicating that Saddam Haftar arrived in Israel with a message from his father asking for political and military support from Israel, vowing to establish diplomatic relations between Libya and Israel in return.

In the meantime, media outlets have reported that the current Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul-Hamid Dbiebah met in Jordan’s capital with Israeli officials, including the Director of the Mossad, to discuss normalization and security cooperation. Dbeibah’s government spokesman denied on Friday the meeting, saying it was a false allegation.
